Visdea App

In an aim to enrich and develop Andrew’s entrepreneurial and product knowledge, Andrew ventured into the starting up his own mobile app called Visdea.

Visdea was a Social Marketplace that allowed you to shop and connect with all things local, at your fingertips.

At the age of 21, Andrew built a start-up with limited budget and resources. Andrew was responsible for everything behind the development of Visdea from the idea to the UI & UX design of the app, website creation, logos, branding and all marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full Visdea mobile app UX/UI Design using Adobe XD and Sketch.
• Unique experience in building a Social Marketplace mobile app from the ground up. From Idea to concept, to design through to development and launch.
• Extensive experience gained in building an online marketplace within the retail industry.
• Reviewing app analytics to determine which UI/UX or features within the app may need to be changed based on user interaction.
• Experienced in working with an international 3^rd party company through to launch.
• Gained extensive experience in launching a start-up mobile application.
• Notable achievements; Top 200 Shopping Category on the first day of launch, Semi-Finalist in the Virgin Voom Pitch competition & shortlisted UK Young entrepreneur of the year 2018 at the age of 21.
